Marie has been working as a mental health clinician for over 17 years.

Marie has obtained qualifications in Counselling, Life and Business Coaching in Australia as well as being a Registered Nurse and a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse. She is also a Clinical Supervisor for Mental Health Professionals and was a University Lecturer.

Marie formed Beyond Words Counselling in 2005 and built up a strong client base from the ground up, gradually expanding via advertising, creating a professional website, and building clientele from referrals from professional organisations and health service providers.

Her areas of expertise include helping individuals, couples and families with their personal and relationship needs. She has vast experience with trauma work, PTSD, critical incident management and has helped several individuals and families navigating challenges arising from FIFO and Defence lifestyles.
