What We Do
Beyond Words Counselling provides reasonably priced counselling services to everyday people with everyday concerns. Our coaching style of counselling sets us apart from our competitors. Rather than limiting our focus purely on the past and present, we empower and guide our clients to focus on where they want to be, and how we can work together to achieve desired goals. Clients often make their first appointment because they feel powerless, and we focus on empowering them with the tools and skills that will help them turn their lives around.
We offers appointments within 55 available hours per week and we pride ourselves on promising that an appointment can generally be secured within 24-48 hours of a client contacting our office.
Who We Work With
Beyond Words Counselling clients range from cancer affected patients and families (referred in conjunction with the Cancer Council WA), Employee Assistance Program referrals, couples seeking relationship counselling, sexual, physical and emotional abuse victims, those dealing with loss and grief, and so on. We do not restrict our client base except to ensure that we assess a new client’s needs on their first appointment and refer them onto another mental health professionals if we do not believe that counselling alone will be able to assist them.
Our Vision
At Beyond Words Counselling, we want a strong reputation for providing an exceptional yet affordable counselling service. We want to hold this reputation among our clients as well as local health professionals and other organisations that refer their patients to us. Long term, we want to be able to offer a free or rebated service to those on lower incomes or in crisis. We want the resources and capacity to respond when opportunities arise that fit our vision.
